2017 Enhanced Pedestrian Crossings Project

Project Update as of 9/15/17:  Underground electrical work and concrete work are complete at Pimlico & Floating Feather, and Resseguie and 15th. Signal poles were installed at Resseguie and 15th on September 8th. Crews are working on concrete sidewalk at Resseguie and Harrison.

General Description:
In August 2017, the Ada County Highway District will construct pedestrian improvements at the following intersections:

  • Resseguie Street and 15th Street
  • Harrison Boulevard and Resseguie Street
  • Pimlico Drive and Floating Feather Road

Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacons (RRFBs), or Pedestrian Hybrid Beacons (PHBs), will be installed. Pedestrian ramps will be upgraded to meet ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance.
