Road Construction to impact local roadways

Ada County - Starting as early as tomorrow, several road construction projects will impact local roadways throughout Ada County.

  • 25th Street between Madison Street and Jefferson Street will be closed April 24-25 for sewer work.
  • 3rd Street between Front Street and Idaho Street will be closed April 28-May 1 nights and weekends for milling and paving.
  • The intersection of Boise Avenue and Eckert Road will have lane restrictions with flagging April 24-28 for overhead power work.
  • The east leg of Capitol Boulevard between Bannock Street and Jefferson Street will be closed April 25-May 5 for concrete repair.
  • Chateau Drive between Man O War and Ten Mile Road will have lane restrictions with flagging April 25-May 15 for new subdivision frontage work.
  • The intersection of Collister Drive and Hill Road will have lane restrictions with flagging April 24-25 for utility work.
  • Curtis Road north of Marvin Lane will have lane restrictions April 27-28 for power work.
  • Hubbard Road between Linder Road and Ten Mile Road will be closed April 25-May 24 for a pressure irrigation main installation. No access will be allowed between Kelsan Avenue and Linder Road.
  • Lander Street north of State Street will be closed April 24-28 for utility work.
  • Mitchell Street between Roan Meadows Drive and Victory Road will have lane and pedestrian restrictions with flagging April 24-28 to allow crews access to install water service for a new subdivision.
  • Orchard Street between Gage Street to north of Irving Street, will have lane restrictions April 24-28 for utility work.
  • Park Lane between Flint Drive and Floating Feather Road will have lane restrictions with flagging April 24-May 5 for cable work.
  • The intersection of Pine Avenue and NW 1st Street will have lane restrictions with flagging April 24-25 for the road rebuild of NW 1st Street and sewer work.
  • Westbound State Street, west of Arthur Street to Lander Street will have lane restrictions April 24-28 for utility work.
  • Ustick Road, west of Christine Street will have lane and pedestrian restrictions April 24-May 1 to allow crews access to replace curb, gutter and sidewalk.
  • Idaho 55, near the Avimor development just north of Shadow Valley Golf Course, will have nighttime lane restrictions with flagging beginning next week (April 24-30), with completion in late spring.  Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) crews will be resurfacing the road and repairing guardrails.  Check idaho.gov, or call 5-1-1 or 1-888-432-7623 for construction updates on this work.

Motorists can expect delays in these areas, and should plan alternate routes of travel whenever possible.
